The Moore County Chamber of Commerce offers countless opportunities for involvement. Working on a Committee is the best way for members to make an impact and effect change in their field of interest.

• Ambassadors
  The primary purpose of the Ambassadors is to serve as a representative of the Chamber through personal contact with the membership. This Committee meets once a month on Tuesdays. • Annual Banquet
  The primary purpose of the Annual Banquet Committee is to assist with the planning and logistics of the largest membership event of the year. Please contact Linda Parsons at lparsons@moorecountychamber.com if you are interested in participating on this Committee.

• Business After Hours
  The primary purpose of the Business After Hours is to provide the Chamber membership with an opportunity to gain exposure for their businesses. In addition, Business After Hours provides a networking opportunity to make business contact in a social atmosphere. • Culinary Showcase
  The primary purpose of the Culinary Showcase is to highlight our food and beverage members. In addition this event provides a networking opportunity for our business community. • Education Action Team
  The primary purpose of the Education Action Team is to foster the relationships between the business community and the educational community in the county to ensure the future workforce of the community is prepared for the work environment they will face; have relevant classroom experiences; and exposure to the types of job opportunities available in the county. The Committee will identify gaps in this relationship and develop programs meaningful to both the schools and the Chamber to meet these identified needs. • Business EXPO
  The primary purpose of the Business EXPO is to provide the membership an opportunity to showcase their products and services to the membership and Moore County Community. • Golf Tournament
  The primary purpose of the Golf Tournament is to provide a one-on-one opportunity for the membership to network in a casual atmosphere. Please contact Linda Parsons at lparsons@moorecountychamber.com if you are interested in participating on this Committee.
   
• Health Care
  The primary purpose of the Health Care Committee is to develop programming for the membership to inform them of current Health Care initiatives in and around the community. Please contact Kell Hainley at khainley@moorecountychamber.com if you are interested in participating on this Committee.
   
• Human Resource Executives Association (HREA)
  The primary purpose of HREA is to participate in educational human resource session as well as network with other HR professionals in the membership. There is an additional $125 fee to participate in this Committee which covers the costs of workshops, meals and speakers. • Legislative Affairs
  The primary purpose of the Legislative Affairs Committee is to advocate for sound public policy at all levels of government to improve the business climate. Contact me about participating in this Committee (lparsons@moorecountychamber.com)
   
• Member to Member (M2M)
  The primary purpose of the M2M Committee is to provide weekly networking and lead sharing opportunities for the membership. This Committee meets every Wednesday. Contact me about participating on this Committee (lparsons@moorecountychamber.com)
   
• Military Affairs
  The primary purpose of the Military Affairs Committee is to assist Moore County Partners in Progress in attracting quality businesses to Moore County. In addition this Committee develops initiatives that support the military and follows programs and issues as it relates to the military impacts on Moore County. • Moore County Leadership Institute
  In 1989, the Moore County Chamber of Commerce established and sponsored the Leadership Institute. The goal was to develop a broader base of informed, committed, and qualified individuals capable of providing dynamic leadership for Moore County.
