SOUTHERN PINES, NC – The Culinary Showcase: A Taste of Moore, one of the premier events of the fall calendar for the Moore County Chamber of Commerce comes to the Fair Barn, in Pinehurst, NC, on Sunday, September 9th, 2007. Sixteen of Moore County’s chefs will be competing for The Culinary Cup (Best in Show), Best Entrée, Best Appetizer, Best Dessert Awards, and People’s Choice. This event showcases Moore County’s extraordinary dining scene. The Culinary Showcase is proudly presented by UNC Pembroke, Crescent State Bank and First Citizens Bank.
Confirmed participants include 1895 at The Holly Inn, Bonefish Grill, Café Sonoma, The Carolina House of Pinehurst, The Cornerstone at National Golf Club, Cold Stone Creamery, The Country Club of Whispering Pines, Elliott’s on Linden, Goldies Gourmet, Henry’s Gelato, Ironwood Café, The Jefferson Inn, The Magnolia Inn, Mid Pines Inn and Golf Resort, On the Green Café and Catering, and Rhett’s Personal Chef & Catering.
Sample their incredible creations for one entry price of $50 per ticket, which includes all food and drink. Live Jazz will be performed by Jazz Saxophonist Reggie C, and a raffle to win a cruise, compliments of AAA Travel in Southern Pines and the Moore County Chamber of Commerce are all part of this incredible evening!!
