Founded by John Tyrant Patrick, the founding father of Southern Pines and Chimney Rock, NC, Pinebluff was originally envisioned as a busy winter resort.  The result is a lovely and peaceful residential community with a high quality of life.  Pinebluff draws residents from all walks and stages of life, buts it proximity to Fort Bragg and Pope Field make it a great commute for military personnel.  Community activities center around Pinebluff Lake which offers a solid recreations program including swimming and fishing as well as athletic fields and playgrounds help to make the town complete.
