Foxfire Village came into existence in 1967 when it was transformed into a scenic resort and residential community.  Situated on a hill, the Village is one of the highest elevations in Moore County and is surrounded by rich and fertile farmland known for its cotton and tobacco crops, peach orchards and vineyards.  It is best summed up by the Village’s tagline, “Where there are no strangers, just friends you haven’t met yet.”
